No Champagne for Obama

Campaign for Liberty

Dear Erick,

Barack Obama won't be popping any champagne tonight.

Thanks to an outpouring of opposition from folks like you, EVERY one of his anti-gun schemes went down to defeat today in the U.S. Senate.

Erick, none of this would have been possible without you making your voice heard.

In fact, Barack Obama credited you with this victory, admitting that our side was "better organized" and more vocal than the opposition.

But the truth is, this battle is far from over.

Just moments after voting ended, Harry Reid said he is ". . .not giving up, and this is not over," adding, "I will do everything I can to continue our efforts to pass stronger background checks."

And Barack Obama followed Harry Reid's comments by saying, "I see this as just round one."

Tomorrow, the U.S. Senate will vote on two more amendments to Barack Obama's gun-control bill.

That's why you and I must remain vigilant and continue to turn up the heat on the Senate to oppose gun control at every opportunity.

You and I won this round. But the next round starts tomorrow.

So pat yourself on the back, roll up your sleeves, and prepare for the next round.

Thanks again for all you do. I'll be sure to keep you updated in our fight to protect our Second Amendment freedoms.

In Liberty,

John Tate
President

P.S. All of Harry Reid's anti-gun amendments went down to defeat today in the U.S. Senate.

But Harry Reid isn't giving up, and he's already said he plans to resurrect "background checks" and other gun control schemes.

That's why it's never been more important that Pro-Gun Americans keep - and turn up - the heat on the U.S. Senate.

Please chip in $10 or $20 to help Campaign for Liberty dial up the pressure on the U.S. Senate during this critical time.
