Harry Reid's Rush. . .

Campaign for Liberty

Dear Erick,

Last night, Harry Reid showed just how desperate he is to ram through the Internet Tax Mandate.

As I wrote you yesterday, the cloture vote to end debate and move to final passage was expected Friday morning.

Instead of waiting a few more hours, Reid rushed the vote through Thursday night.

And in the process, he helped prove just how much the momentum is coming our way.

Cloture must receive 60 votes.

Throughout this fight, this issue has routinely seen around 75 senators support other cloture votes.

Yesterday's final cloture vote barely passed - with 63 votes.

You can find out how your senators voted at a link I'll provide shortly.

First, though, I hope you'll chip in $10, $20, or whatever you can give to help C4L continue to lead the fight against the Internet Tax Mandate.

C4L members have made tens of thousands of phone calls and generated over 750,000 petitions!

It's clear you and I are having a major impact.

With the vote on final passage (which only requires a simple majority) expected when the Senate returns from its recess on May 6 - and an excellent opportunity to defeat this monster in the House if it makes it there - your support today can enable us to build on our momentum and protect taxpayers from this latest Big Government power play.

Thank you for standing with C4L in our battle for individual liberty and limited government.

You can see how your senators voted HERE.

In Liberty,

John Tate
President
