Dear Erick, The vote on the Audit the Fed bill is expected today! During yesterday’s debate on the House floor, several representatives praised Audit the Fed. But several more, including Representatives Elijah Cummings, Steny Hoyer, Barney Frank, Carolyn Maloney, and Mel Watt, stood firmly in the Fed’s corner and attacked our attempt at common-sense transparency. While they’re apparently fine with letting the out-of-control Fed deny the American people answers, there are many more who could still go either way. That’s why it’s vital you contact Congress one more time today. You and I need to make sure our voices in support of transparency outweigh the messages our representatives are getting from the Fed’s allies. Even if your representative was included in the above list, I hope you’ll inform them they still have a chance to stand with the American people instead of the secretive central bank that helped wreck our economy. You can find your representative’s contact information HERE. The vote is expected to take place this afternoon, and with a two-thirds majority required for victory, we can’t afford to take anything for granted! Please contact your representative right away! In Liberty, Matt Hawes Vice President P.S. While several representatives spoke in strong support of Audit the Fed during yesterday’s debate, there were several who made it clear they stand with the secretive central bank that helped wreck our economy. The House is expected to vote later today, so please contact your representative one more time. Even if your representative was included in the above list, I hope you’ll inform them they still have a chance to stand with the American people by voting “YES” on Audit the Fed. You and I need to guarantee the voices our representatives hear in support of transparency outweigh the messages they’re getting from the Fed’s allies. You can find your representative’s contact information HERE. And after you’ve called, if you’re able, I hope you’ll chip in $10 or $25 to help C4L rally millions more Americans to the Audit the Fed cause! |
