Dear Erick,
Bob Gardner and Frank McNulty have sold us out.
The two of them have gone on bended knee to Obama for a $43 million federal grant that will ultimately force Colorado to implement ObamaCare.
If five members of the Legislative Health Benefit Exchange Implementation Review Committee voted to reject the grant, it would have wounded ObamaCare in Colorado.
Because of Bob Gardner, a vote on the Insurance Exchange federal grant will not be called!
Gardner, in an act of pure political game playing, did McNulty’s bidding and killed the vote. He, along with his Democrat counterpart on the committee, approved the grant by fiat Thursday evening.
Speaker of the House Frank McNulty never wanted there to be a vote.
You see, left-leaning Republican Ken Summers is on the committee, and because of redistricting, his bid for higher office is vulnerable in the general election.
Had there been a vote, it would have put Summers on record either for or against the Insurance Exchanges right in the middle of a tough election. McNulty needs Summers to gain a majority in the state Senate.
As far as we’re concerned, Summers is now on record. The committee’s inaction is vote enough for us.
Summers voted originally for SB 200, which gave us the Insurance Exchanges, and now he used his powerful friends to give him cover from taking a stand on the issue once again.
Call Rep. Bob Gardner at 719-491-5705, Speaker Frank McNulty at 303-905-8993 and Rep. Ken Summers at 303-725-4765 and ask them why they traded Colorado’s sovereignty for a cheap political maneuver.
Also, let them know that you won’t forget about this and will make sure their constituents know that they submissively gave in to Washington and Obama.
Thank you for your action in the last two days.
Despite the outcome, politicians now know that there is a huge group of activists in Colorado who won’t sit back and take what’s given to them.
Colorado Campaign for Liberty will continue to fight for your health freedom - it will be a long battle, but one we can win with determination and persistence.
Are you with us?
In Liberty,
Matt Holdridge

P.S. Rep. Bob Gardner, in an act of pure political game-playing, did Speaker Frank McNulty’s bidding and refused to call for a vote on the $43 million federal grant to cement ObamaCare in Colorado.
Both of them did this to protect left-leaning Republican Ken Summers from having to take a stance on the Heath Care Exchange issue during a tough election year.
Call Rep. Bob Gardner at 719-491-5705, Speaker Frank McNulty at 303-905-8993 and Rep. Ken Summers at 303-725-4765 and ask them why they traded Colorado’s sovereignty for cheap political gain.
