 Dear Erick, You’re probably as tired as I am of the non-stop election coverage that seems to dominate our lives. Well, there’s a group of people who know all-too-well exactly how much Americans are ready to stop paying attention to politics – those who want to grab more power for the government. One week after the November 6 election, I’ll be back in Washington, D.C. for the lame-duck session of Congress. In fact, this time will mark my final weeks as a U.S. Representative. As I prepare to leave office, I would love nothing more than to see Campaign for Liberty make a huge impact to defeat the statists’ plans, which will include extending many of their police state powers through reauthorizing the FISA Amendments Act, just to name one example. Many politicians on Capitol Hill will think this is the perfect time to strike. I think it’s the perfect time to remind them C4L will never back down in defense of liberty. But Campaign for Liberty needs your help to be effective during the lame duck.
