Dear Erick, Less than five minutes. That's all the time the mainstream media thinks Ron Paul deserves to present his views during a national debate. Of course, if they had their way entirely, he wouldn't be on the stage at all. Never mind that he is the only candidate who predicted this historic economic crisis and laid out precise solutions to help lessen its severity - several years before it happened. Never mind that he is the candidate with the most support from active duty military members - more, in fact, than all his opponents combined. Never mind that he is consistently polling in second or third place and in striking distance of first place for the Republican nomination. If you get as outraged as I do when Ron Paul is snubbed and ignored by the establishment gatekeepers at these so-called "debates," I hope you'll take advantage of a major opportunity to gain Congressman Paul national attention. September 30th marks the end of the 3rd fundraising quarter. Not only must our campaign report how much we've raised, but we will get another glimpse at the level of support for our rivals. Can you help me make sure that Ron Paul steals the headlines with his strongest fundraising report ever? You see, it's well known that Wall Street insiders, status quo-protecting lobbyists, and other fat cats don't want Ron Paul in the White House. The establishment machine has come out in full force to prevent Ron Paul's message from reaching voters nationwide. But you and I have a chance to send a loud and clear message that they've failed. That grassroots, everyday Americans want Ron Paul as the next President. That we're finished with letting carefully scripted talking heads and sold-out commentators tell us who the real contenders are. During Thursday's Orlando debate, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry received more than double the amount of time given to Dr. Paul - and did nothing with it but bicker back and forth about who can best continue to carry the statists' water the next four years. Further adding to the insult, the rapidly fading Michele Bachmann and second-tier candidates Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, and Jon Huntsman all also got more time than Congressman Paul. Our campaign has made no secret of our plan to go around the media and appeal directly to the American people, and we have a goal of spending at least $2.5 million on TV ads, internet ads, phone outreach, and targeted voter mail over the next 30 days. But we will not be able to overcome the bias and get Dr. Paul's message to the voters without your help. Can Ron Paul count on you to help make this 3rd quarter filing his strongest fundraising report ever? I've seen firsthand the power of the liberty message as I've traveled with Dr. Paul during this campaign. The American people are tired of endless spending, trillion dollar nation-building boondoggles, and politicians who flat-out lie to get elected and then abuse their power once in office. They know Ron Paul represents real change, and the more Americans find out about his record and character, the more his support grows. Our campaign is ready to reach millions of additional voters. Please, donate whatever you are able to our 3rd Quarter Push to help Dr. Paul shock the establishment, demonstrate that his support is stronger than ever, and win this race. Thank you for your hard work to help make Ron Paul the next President of the United States. For Liberty, John Tate Campaign Manager P.S. The September 30th 3rd quarter filing deadline is only days away, and Dr. Paul needs your help to make sure it's his strongest fundraising report ever. The establishment thinks they can defeat us by ignoring Ron Paul and blocking his message. Our campaign is ready to reach the voters with at least $2.5 million worth of TV ads, internet ads, phone outreach, and targeted voter mail over the next 30 days. But only if we can raise the necessary funds. Can Ron Paul count on you to donate to this 3rd Quarter Push and help his message get directly to the American people? |
